PACLOBOTRAOL 40% SC

Paclobutrazol 40 SC is a plant growth regulator containing 40% of the active ingredient paclobutrazol. 

Formulation Type: Paclobutrazol 40 SC is formulated as a suspension concentrate (SC), also known as a flowable concentrate. SC formulations contain finely ground active ingredient particles dispersed in a liquid carrier. 

Mode of Action: Paclobutrazol acts by inhibiting the conversion of geranylgeranyl pyrophosphate (GGPP) to ent-kaurene in the gibberellin biosynthesis pathway. This inhibition leads to a reduction in the synthesis of gibberellins, which are responsible for promoting stem elongation and cell division in plants.
